Joint ZTM-KM-WKD ticket from 1 January 2015

The company „Koleje Mazowieckie – KM” informs that the offer „Joint ZTM-KM-WKD* ticket” is available also in 2015.

*ZTM - Warsaw Transport Authority;  WKD - Warsaw Commuter Railway

According to the above-mentioned offer passengers having valid ZTM tickets:

1) day,

2) weekend,

3) weekend group,

4) 30-day,

5) 90-day,

6) senior,

7) for a child from a family having at least three children,

as well as the right to have a concession fare for local transport in Warsaw according to the Warsaw City Council acts can travel by KM trains:

1) in the area of the following stations and passenger stops: Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek, Warszawa Gołąbki, Warszawa Choszczówka, Warszawa Wola Grzybowska, Warszawa Zacisze-Wilno, Warszawa Rembertów (for train on the road to Wołomin), Warszawa Fakenica, Warszawa Jeziorki, Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina, i.e. between all the stations and passenger stops in the first ZTM (Warsaw Transport Authority) tariff zone

- on the basis of tickets valid in the first ticket zone in the Warsaw area;

2) between the stations in the second ZTM traiff zone:

- Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek – Pruszków,

- Warszawa Gołąbki – Płochocin,

- Warszawa Choszczówka – Legionowo Przystanek,

- Warszawa Choszczówka – Legionowo Piaski,

- Warszawa Wola Grzybowska – Sulejówek Miłosna,

- Warszawa Falenica – Śródborów,

- Warszawa Jeziorki – Zalesie Górne,

on the basis of tickets valid in the first and the second ticket zone.

Other ZTM tickets not mentioned above are not honoured, in other words they do not give a passenger the right to travel by KM trains.

Passengers travelling by KM trains from places located beyond the area of „Joint ZTM-KM-WKD ticket” are obligated to purchase a KM ticket to the station from which the offer „Joint ZTM-KM-WKD ticket” applies.

Furthermore, we inform that since 1 January 2015 the rules of travelling in the first ZTM ticket zone by fast KM trains on the basis of the KM and ZTM tickets has not changed. However, there is a change in travelling by fast KM trains in the second ZTM ticket zone, on the basis of ZTM tickets honoured according to the offer „Joint ZTM-KM-WKD ticket”.

If a fast KM train:

1) stops in the second zone – travelling by this train is possible from and to station on the following roads:

- number 3 Warsaw – Łowicz Główny: Ożarów Mazowiecki, for the train „Mazovia” coming to Warsaw,

- number 7 Warsaw – Dęblin: Otwock,

- number 8 Warsaw – Skarżyńsko Kamienne: Zalesie Górne,

- number 9 Warsaw – Działdowo: Legionowo and Legionowo Przystanek (depending on the station stop);

2) does not stop in the second zone – the tickets are valid only in the first ZTM ticket zone, i.e. To the last station from the first ZTM zone on the following roads:

- number 1 Warsaw – Skierniewice: Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek, e.g. for the train „Wiedenka” and „Bolimek”,

- number 2 Warsaw – Łuków: Warszawa Wola Grzybowska, e.g. for the train „Łukowianka”,

- number 3 Warsaw- Łowicz Główny: Warszawa Gołąbki, e.g. for the train „Mazovia” coming to Płock

The above rules concern also people entitled to travel by ZTM for free.

Items and animals are carried according to the rules applying in the local transport controlled by ZTM.

Travelling by KM trains is possible on the basis of the valid season ZTM tickets mentioned above, i.e. activated/deleted.

The list of stations and passenger stops equipped with a ZTM ticket punch

Passengers with an inactive ZTM ticket issued on Warsaw City Card are obligated to enter the train through the first door (from the front of the train) in the first compartment behind a locomotive operator's active cab and immediately report to the train manager requesting the ticket activation. Otherwise, the passenger will be considered to be travelling without a valid ticket.

The control and debt collection due to travelling by KM train without a valid carriage document is hold by KM according to the rules applying in KM, including tickets bought by a mobile phone.

We also inform that on the road Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina (Warsaw Chopin Airport) – Warszawa Płudy:

1) on Koleje Mazowieckie trains (RL railroads) – we honor all the ZTM tickets together with the entitlement to a concession fare as well as travelling for free using the local transport in Warsaw;

 2) on SKM (Fast Urban Railway) trains (S2 and S3 railroads) – we honor all the KM tickets together with the entitlement to a concession fare, including: monthly, quarterly and yearly tickets.
